Notable Plot Moments:
Sam and Dean pull into the parking lot of the Pineview Hotel, clearly in a hurry. They get out of the car and Dean notices a line of Chevy Impalas. Chuck is outside and they ask him what is wrong. He has no idea what they’re talking about and seems vaguely uncomfortable to see them. They tell him they drove all night because he texted them this address and told them it was a life or death situation. Chuck realizes what happens as Becky comes outside. It turns out she sent the text from Chuck’s phone. A man comes out to tell Chuck that the show is about to start. Chuck then apologizes…for everything.
Sam and Dean walk inside and see people dressed like them and like all the demons they’ve fought. There is Supernatural merchandise everywhere. Becky tells them it’s the first ever Supernatural convention. During the convention, Chuck announces that the books are going to start being published again.
The LARPers are all on a hunt when the pretend hunt becomes real. Sam and Dean ask the real hotel receptionist about the story. He tells them that Leticia Gore was real and it’s really the anniversary. They find out it happened in the attic so Sam and Dean head up there.
A role playing Sam and Dean see the ghost of a child and find a map behind a picture. Sam and Dean overhear them and need to work with them. The guys insist on being “Sam and “Dean” and Sam and Dean agree and are “Bobby” and “Rufus.” Dean is going along and then has a major meltdown and goes off on the two guys.
After getting rid of the ghost, Sam and Dean try to leave but the doors are all sealed, even though they are unlocked. Then the little boy shows up again and says that his mommy didn’t scalp him. He disappears before telling them who did it, and the other creepy children show up. It turns out the fun that Ms. Gore wouldn’t let them have was being murderous.
Sam and Dean get one of the LARPers to pretend to be Latricia Gore, but her cell phone goes off and the ghosts realize it’s not really Gore. Meanwhile, they salted the exits of the auditorium where Chuck is holding the convention. One of the hotel employees gets up and opens the door, letting in one of the creepy little child ghosts. Chuck attacks him with an iron firepower and saves the employee and then shuts the door again.
Sam and Dean are very close to getting scalped by the ghosts when fake Sam and Fake Dean manage to burn the bones.
As they are leaving, Becky tells Sam that Bela lied about giving the Colt to Lilith. she actually gave it to Crowley.
The expressions on Sam and Dean’s faces upon realizing they are at a Supernatural convention.
The ghost hunter wannabes start telling Sam and Dean that they’re crazy when the ghost shows up behind Sam and attacks them.
Dean is freaked out to find out that fake Sam and Dean are actually partners, embodying the homoerotic subtext of the brothers in the story.
Sam plays along with Becky when she “breaks up” with him for Chuck.
