Dean hears Sam on the phone, and when Dean asks him what he was doing, he tells him he was it the bathroom and doesn’t mention the phone call, which seemed like something important.
Sam gets a little flirty with the doctor, and when Dean walks in, she practically ignores him.
In an epic moment of the series, we find out that everything is taken care of if someone actually follows up on the brothers ID when an actual F.B.I. agent shows up and wants to follow protocol. He calls the number and we hear Bobby answer.
We then cut to Bobby cooking, and when he hangs up, the camera pans over a row of phones labeled F.B.I., C.D.C., etc.
Notable Plot Moments:
A man kills his wife because she said they would go to a party and he didn’t want to go. When Sam and Dean go to interview him, he says he wasn’t confused or disoriented, but he has no idea why he did it. It turns out that he was having an affair with a stripper. He says that he killed his wife for Jasmine, who told him they would be together forever, but when he went to meet her, she didn’t show up.
Sam finds out that the men who killed their wives had oxytocin in their system. Dean finds out that the men had all interacted with strippers and they all described the strippers using the exact same words. Sam talks to Bobby and they have a theory that the strippers are Sirens. According to Sam, the sirens appear as whatever the men want, so all the strippers could actually be one Siren.
Dean becomes convinced that the doctor is the siren. He gets mad at Sam and Dean calls the real F.B.I. agent to get his help. He turns out to be the siren, and Dean offers him some alcohol from a flask. Dean then drinks it, and the siren tells him that he poisons his victims through saliva.
He then tells Dean to kill Sam. Then he changes his mind and infects Sam, too, and tells them he will be with whichever one survives. They are fighting, and Dean ends up with upper hand. He grabs an emergency fire axe and is about to kill Sam when Bobby shows up at the last minute and stops him.
Then he kills the siren. How awesome is Bobby?
Sam and Dean just look stunned. That’s an awkward moment.
During the wrap up conversation by the car, Sam apologizes for what he said, saying he didn’t mean it, it was just the siren’s spell. Dean agrees and says he didn’t, either. The awkwardness that’s still there makes you wonder if it’s just a convenient lie for them both…
Dean sees that Sam left his phone in the motel and he calls the number Sam had been speaking too, and Ruby answers.
During their fight, Sam and Dean get out all the things they want to say. Sam tells Dean he holds him back and is weak. Dean tells Sam he doesn’t trust him.
