Following in the steps of Jared Padalecki and his ‘Always Keep Fighting’ campaign to raise money and attention for mental health, Paul Wesley and Ian Somerhalder of the Vampire Diaries are launching a t-shirt campaign of their own. The proceeds will go to environmental causes.
Wesley and Somerhalder, who play Stefan and Damon Salvatore on the Vampire Diaries, officially launched the campaign on Friday on Represent, the same site used by Padalecki and his Supernatural co-star, Jensen Ackles.
The campaign is offering prizes to people who purchase the t-shirts. The first possible prize was a personal phone call from either Wesley or Somerhalder, according to Entertainment Weekly.
The t-shirt was designed by Vampire Diaries fan Kathryn Kij, and reads “Blood Brothers since 1864” under a black-and-white picture of the Salvatore brothers.
“You guys came through,” Wesley said in a video posted to his Twitter account. “The Blood Brothers, on our chests – soon to be on your chests.”

The shirts are available for purchase for $23.99 at represent.com/ianpaul.
