Chuck – Season 4 – Episode 10

Chuck Versus the Leftovers

The episode opens with Frost talking to Volkoff, who is surprised to hear Chuck is still alive. He is sending top assassins to kill him.

Important Moments:
Zachary Levi, Yvonne Strahovski, Chuck Bartowski, Sarah Walker
Chuck and Sarah are attacked by the assassins and Chuck’s mom shows up to save them. They take her back to Castle.

While Sarah and Casey (and Chuck by phone) are interrogating Chuck’s mom, Volkoff gets into the Buy More. Morgan sees men with guns from his office and hides in the vent. He then calls Chuck in Castle. Casey prepares to defend the Buy More from Castle, and Volfoff comes on the security camera saying he’s there for his best agent, Frost, who he believes to have been captured. Volkoff threatens to kill Jeff and Lester if Frost isn’t released.

Casey tells them there’s a manual override in the vents.
Timothy Dalton, Alexei Volkoff
Chuck’s mom tells them to give her over, and asks Chuck to trust her, but he doesn’t. However, when Chuck gets on the phone, Volkoff intimidates him and he gives the phone to his mother. While she is talking to Volkoff, he calls her “My love.” Sarah and Chuck are shocked and Chuck starts freaking out, asking her if Volkoff is her boyfriend and if he’s the reason she left his dad. Chuck’s mom asks Sarah to back her up, and reluctantly, Sarah tells Chuck that being in his mother’s position would make you an extremely important intelligence agent.

Sarah suggests they threaten to hurt Frost, because it could buy more time for Casey.

Morgan finds Casey crawling in the vents and learns that Volkoff has Jeff and Lester, who he singlehandedly decides to save. Of course, he gets caught, but Casey saves him. Unfortunately, Casey then gets captured.

Chuck calls Volkoff and threatens Frost. Volkoff then rolls out a serious bomb and says he will blow up everyone, including Frost, if she isn’t returned.

After they return Frost, Volkoff changes his mind about letting everyone go and decides that it would be a romantic gesture to shoot Chuck. Before he can kill him, Frost tells Volkoff that Chuck is her son to save him. While Frost and Volkoff are arguing about this new information, a call comes in from Ellie. Volkoff realizes it’s Chuck’s sister, and Frost’s daughter. Ellie invites Chuck for Thanksgiving dinner. Volkoff then reacts by asking Frost if she didn’t think he could have a relationship with her family?

During charades, Chuck tells Awesome about the situation, including that he’s spying again and that Volkoff is an international arms dealer. Awesome goes to Chuck’s apartment under the guise of getting sugar and alerts the CIA. When he gets back, he gives Sarah the sugar and a gun. She suggests to him that his cell phone should be ringing and he pretends to get a call from the hospital, needing both Awesome and Ellie, to get them out of the house and safe from Volkoff.
Linda Hamilton
Frost threatens Volkoff to agree that her family will remain safe. It works and they all leave.

Awesome gets really mad at Chuck for bringing spy stuff into their apartment. Awesome then gives Stephen’s computer to Chuck. He takes the computer to Castle and when the question comes up, 1 or 11?, Chuck remembers what his dad used to say. He types, “Aces, Charles,” and it works. The old Intersect downloads into Chucks head again.
